Worship

  • Worship Experience: Welcome and connect with fellow worshippers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere through greeting, ushering, reading, assisting with communion and altar care.

  • Production: Support our worship services by assisting with sound, lighting, streaming and multimedia.

  • Photography: Capture the vibrant life of our church through your lens, documenting events and services.

  • Facilities Team: Help maintain and beautify our church grounds and buildings, ensuring a welcoming environment.

  • Prayer Team: Join us in interceding for our church and community, providing spiritual support and encouragement.

 

Children’s Ministry 

  • KidMin and Nursery Care: Help nurture the faith of our youngest members through engaging activities, stories, and care.

Library
Local Ministry
  • Care and Visitation: Offer companionship and care to those in need within our community, bringing hope and comfort
  • Block Party: Assist in organizing and hosting block parties, fostering community spirit and connection.
  • Summer Camps: Volunteer at our summer camps, guiding and inspiring the next generation.
  • Bethel Baristas: Serve up smiles and coffee at our church cafe, creating a friendly space for fellowship.
  • The Rock: The Rock prepares and serves breakfast to the people of the inner city on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. This important first meal of the day is often what sustains them throughout the day. To assist in this ministry please contact Harold Niebergall (587-269-3400). Bethel’s Mission of the Month in October is The Rock. Watch for the grocery bags with the grocery list as another way to support the ministry. 
  • Bike Ministry: A group of men meet on a weekly basis to repair and refurbish bicycles. Bikes are given to girls and boys in need. Meets Tuesdays, 6:00-8:30 p.m. at Sports Central (11847 Wayne Gretzky Dr, Edmonton). 

 

Global Ministry - be part of one of our missions teams, spreading the love of Jesus across the globe through service and outreach.
Youth Servant Events: Each year our Junior and Senior high students travel to spread the love of Jesus to those in need.

Senior High Servant Event

Our senior high youth have traveled to Mexico to build houses and Puerto Rico to help host local VBS.

 

LAMP

(Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots) - LAMP conducts Vacation Bible School and Sports Ministry in northern aboriginal communities.
