Celebrate in Worship
The word “worship” comes from an old English word “worth-ship” - honor shown someone or value and worth given to something. Jesus said, Worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve. Luke 4:8
Be Engaged
To be engaged is to be invested in Jesus’ mission—in the proofs and the outcome of his mission. It is to have “skin in the game”. Jesus said, Go and do likewise. Luke 10:37, and If anyone would follow me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23
Be Missional
All of life is a servant event. Being missional is living and loving as Jesus did. He said, As the Father sent me, so I send you. John 20:21
Be Inviting
Jesus was an inviting person—filled with grace and mercy; exuding compassion. His words and actions were congruent and he continually invited people to join him on the mission. Come follow me Matthew 4:19, and Come to me all who are wearied and burdened Matthew 11:28
