Hi! 

I’m James and I am third pastor of the Bethel team.  I am a forgiven child of God who has been blessed with a very patient and caring wife (Tamara), three children (Nathan, Kira and Jaida), supportive parents, and a handful of interesting siblings. 

I enjoy being an active father and look forward to coaching Nathan’s football team, supporting Kira as she explores her artistic side through dance, and taking Jaida to the swimming pool as we settle into our new community.  My family and I have come to Bethel after serving two congregations in Northern Alberta.  Together, as a family we have  seen God do miraculous things on the mission field in Northern British Columbia with the LAMP sports ministry team, and have experienced His grace and love in many facets of our lives.

When I look back and reflect on things that have happened in my life, I am amazed that I am here at this point.  It is so interesting how God forms us and guides our paths as they intersect with one another.  I am looking forward to hearing stories of your life journey, to share some of my own story and above all to grow together through His story.
