    Music has always been a part of my life! I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, and my family attended a Lutheran church in a nearby town where I also took piano lessons.  I was a teenager when we sold our farm and moved into town. It was not long before I was conducting the children’s choir at our church and also substituting on the organ.

    My career in music has given me many opportunities, from teaching elementary and junior high school music, to teaching college music and singing in a professional choir.

    My position as Blended Worship Coordinator here at Bethel is personally fulfilling in that it not only allows me to use my musical skills, but it also provides opportunity to share and grow in my faith with fellow Christians.

    God has blessed me with a loving family: my dear husband Barry and three children and their spouses. The families live nearby so we have opportunity to see our five lovely granddaughters on a regular basis.

    I see my ministry at Bethel as being one of keeping in touch with our historical roots but also moving forward in our worship. I make every effort to keep in touch with trends and materials available to help us grow as a worshipping congregation. I am very thankful for the support and cooperation I receive from the Bethel family.
